Intraday reporting (camt.052)
See credits and debits as they happen through the day, before the end-of-day statement is cut.
Why intraday matters
The end-of-day camt.053 is a settled record; camt.052 (the ISO 20022 "BankToCustomerAccountReport") is the live view during the day. Treasury teams use it to watch balances in real time, confirm an expected receipt has landed before releasing an onward payment, and manage intraday liquidity against RTGS obligations.
Getting intraday data
- 1Open the account and choose Intraday report, or subscribe the account to a camt.052 feed for your treasury system.
- 2Refresh through the day to see new entries as they book; each carries provisional or booked status.
- 3Reconcile expected inflows against the report before you rely on them for onward payments.
Good to know
An intraday entry marked provisional may still be reversed; a booked entry is final for the day. Fund time-critical onward payments against booked inflows, not provisional ones.
