Follow these steps
Work top to bottom — each step sets up the next.
-
1
Open the account statements
Cash & liquidity -> open the account -> Statements.
-
2
Pick the period
Choose the date or date range you need to reconcile.
-
3
Choose the format
camt.053 (ISO 20022 XML) for richer structured data, or MT940 (SWIFT text) where your system needs the legacy format. Both come from the same ledger, so the figures match.
For automated matching, prefer camt.053 — its end-to-end IDs and structured remittance let more lines auto-reconcile. -
4
Download and load it
Download the file and ingest it into your ERP or reconciliation tool. camt.053 validates against the ISO 20022 schema if you want to check it.
